Circle of Achievers

Circle of Achievers
2017 Circle of Achievers

As you devise plans for next year’s events and community engagements, we invite you to participate in ASPIRA’s 2017 Annual Corporate Latino Achievers gala eventBuilding on 56 Years of Investing in Latino Youth.”  The fête, which promises to be the best one yet, will take place on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at ESpace -- located at 635 West 42nd Street, New York, NY -- from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
This year’s theme, ASPIRA Next Generation: Honoring our Legacy, Elevating to New Heights, signals a new beginning.  The inspiring night will focus on recognizing corporate achievers, stellar public servants and outstanding educators who make a difference, and we are hoping that one of your outstanding leaders will be among them.
ASPIRA -- which means “to aspire” -- was founded in 1961 by Dr. Antonia Pantoja, in New York City, and has grown from a local organization to one of the largest Latino non-profit agencies in the nation dedicated to educating and developing the next generation of Latino leaders. At the Circle of Achievers gala, we will celebrate ASPIRA of New York’s extraordinary success in providing more than 500,000 young people the tools they need to learn, grow and excel.
Every year, we bestow our Corporate Leadership Award to corporate honorees who become part of our elite Corporate Achievers Circle.  These individuals are top performers from their respective corporate organizations who serve as exemplary role models to the young people we serve. The award categories are as follows: Dr. Antonia Pantoja Leadership Award, for a corporation that has a stellar corporate citizenship reputation; and, the
Aspirante Achievement Award, which recognizes those who courageously and positively impact our community through innovative advocacy efforts.  Finally, to signal a year of growth and change, we are incorporating a new award, the “ASPIRA Education Impact Award,” an honor which will be bestowed upon an educator who serves to positively impact students from challenged backgrounds.
We hope you will join us in supporting ASPIRA and would truly appreciate you championing our event, which will help raise funds for scholarships and programming that will positively impact the lives of students and their families.
Our ability to engender innovation, as well as the strength of our nation as a global competitor in the future, will depend on the success of our students…and your support.  Aspirantes in our schools look forward to your gracious sponsorship.

Warm regards,
